✕CHOOSE A DIFFERENT TOOL WHEN
- Not a cutting tool on its own — bladeless, it does nothing; it is the seat.
- Not the extreme-control or extreme-leverage pick — as a middle length it is neither the shortest close-work handle nor the longest leverage handle, so a job that truly needs one end of the range is better matched there.
- Not a seat for wide blades — 5/16" and 3/8" only; wider flat-grind mill blades take the metal handles.
- Not a riveted-knife handle — the trade knives in this line carry fixed hardwood handles and are outside the extension system.
