Fix the blade before the first cut

Set the extension and secure it (method per Hyde ⚑) so nothing shifts under load — a moving blade means a ruined cut and a hazard. Let the flats speak to your fingers. Index a flat face against the hand to read edge direction blind. Fit the handle to the hand and the blade to the work. A 4-3/4" middle grip changes how the tool sits, not what it cuts; choose length by hand and clearance. Protect the wood. Kept dry and never used to lever a seated blade, a hardwood handle lasts for years; levering is what ends them.

What is this handle for?
Seating an extension (mill) blade at a cutting station — the blade wears out and is replaced, the handle stays for years. Mount a 5/16" or 3/8" blade, set the extension, cut.
How long is it?
4-3/4" — a middle-length grip, between the 4-1/2" short handle and the 5-1/4" long one.
Is it different from the 57660?
