What it does
8" polypropylene smoothing and trim tool. The edge works as a squeegee to chase air to the nearest edge.
How to use it
- Hold the edge at a low angle, like a squeegee on glass. Steeper turns smoothing into scraping.
- Overlap strokes so no air stays in the gaps.
- Check with a lamp held at a low angle. Pockets show as shadow.

Common questions
Is it safe on embossed paper?
No. Fragile paper takes a smoothing brush. Test a scrap if unsure.
Can it fix a bubble that dried?
No. A dried blister is a pinhole-and-press repair. Chase air out while the paste is open.
Do I still need a seam roller?
The usual kit has one. Light smoother strokes along the seam work in a pinch.
Why plastic instead of a brush?
For vinyl and non-woven papers, which take firmer pressure.
