  • Paint scraping and putty work. Despite "knife" in the name, this is a finishing and wallcovering tool, not a stiff scraper — that's the Black & Silver® putty-knife line, a different aisle entirely.

Read the crank as clearance, not as a gimmick

([09012]/[09072]-class), same as any finishing blade — a clean stainless edge is what makes the fine-finish pass fine. Because it's stainless, wash-up is forgiving; you can leave it in the bucket without penalty, which a carbon knife will not forgive.
