✕DO NOT FORCE THE FIT
- Long flat runs where reach and flank width govern — the full-inch, 4"-long straight (66060) puts more blade on a broad flat face; the 66030's compact size is a detail advantage, not a coverage one.
- Heavy long-pull deflashing on large parts — the offset (66090) keeps the hand clear through a long stroke the straight handle cannot.
- Throughput vent-trimming of production tread rows — that is the five-groove pin trimmer's swath job (65060).
- Precision detail where the curved tip is beside the point — on dead-flat bench work a square-tipped straight (66330) is the simpler equal; the curve only earns its keep on contour.
- And it is not a repair knife — it finishes healthy parts; the injured-casing work belongs to the K770 skiver (61350) and the H2T taper point (61260), other lines.
