Rig before trigger

low-rpm 1/2"-class drill, side handle, stance — the stack's torque potential is the tier's highest short of the drum. Heads deep: two impellers means twice the aeration if either nears the surface; the stack lives low. Shortened strokes: the second head is already working the mid-column — orbit the floor, lift less. Low rpm always: foam in coatings, pits in mud, heat in resin, sling everywhere — all speed artifacts, all doubled by a double stack. Water first, powder on top: every bagged material this tool meets follows the same charge order. Never out-mix the window: hot mud, grout-class materials, and epoxy cure on chemistry's schedule, not yours. Wash like it matters: it does — twice the blade area is twice the future contamination if it crusts.

What does "Fixed Impellers" mean?
Welded, rigid, permanently positioned — two 5" plated-steel impellers fixed to the shaft. It does not imply a folding version; none exists in this line .
What drill does it need?
A 1/2"-or-larger low-rpm electric drill — the spade-handle mixing class, side handle fitted and used (2g). This is a family-row requirement, not advice.
Is the shaft 1/2" or 3/8"?
Hyde's page says both — "1/2\" Diameter Shaft" in the name, "3/8\" powder-coated steel shaft" in the body . This guide promises the drill class and no shank number until the copy resolves.
Concrete and mortar — really, on a drill?
Batch-scale patch and mortar work, yes — that is the family's first breath (2a). Full structural pours belong to concrete equipment, not any chuck.
Joint compound?
Crew-scale knockdown, absolutely (2b). The thin-by-coat finesse ladder is queued to lighter heads — this is the breaking tool, not the blending tool.
Epoxy?
Family-rated (2f): complete blend inside pot life, low rpm, no whipped air, instant wash. The 434xx paint tier is barred from epoxy by its own row.
Why two impellers instead of one bigger one?
Column coverage: two heights sheared per revolution, shorter strokes, faster turnover in dense material — the configuration hard materials reward (§1, 2a).
Can I use it in a plastic bucket?
It will mix there — but steel heads and plastic walls wear each other, and the 09114's poly blades exist for exactly that pairing. Steel vessel, this page; keeper plastic pail, that one.
