✕CHOOSE A DIFFERENT TOOL WHEN
- Anything with area.
- Not nail holes (02005 and up — the putty-knife world starts where flaws acquire area).
- Not spackling, patching, or skim work of any size.
- Not stirring anything at quart scale or above — 3/8" of blade in a gallon is a wand stirring soup; a quart wants the 41060 or 41110, a gallon wants the 47050 paddle, and powered mixing belongs to the mixers line.
- Not board-mixing two-part batches (see the exclusion above).
