Why is there no flexible or poly version at this length?
The assortment offers 48" in stiff aluminum only. The line's authored reasoning: at four feet a limber blade would droop off the line under its own span — Hyde states no rationale; treat the mechanism as unclaimed.
Can one person use it?
Yes, two-handed between placements (2a) — carriage is the learned skill. All-day one-handed overhead work is the 36's territory.
Why is fog getting under my dead-straight line?
Four feet of rigid edge bridges every hollow it spans. The surface is disqualifying the blade — move to the 36 flex on that wall; no pressure fixes a bridge.
Will lacquer, alkyd, or solvent cleanup hurt it?
