The wet bead on the edge. Wipe every few placements, before it forms (2e). Lift and place; never slide.
Will lacquer or oil ruin it?
No — that is precisely this blade's argument. Solvent coatings and solvent cleanup are the aluminum family's home turf; it's the polystyrene twin they ruin.
Does it come with the handle?
