The entire value proposition assumes the field was rolled with a 9" E-volution microfiber at a comparable nap; blend into a wall rolled with a knit or a woven and the fabrics' stipples still differ, if less than a mini's would. Know what painted the wall before you trust the touch-up. Pre-dampen for waterborne paint — roll the dry cover on a damp rag and spin it out, or the microfiber's first load vanishes into the fibers instead of the wall. De-lint once before its first job — even a lint-free cover carries a few loose fibers from manufacture; wrap it in painter's tape and pull it off. Light hand, always — this is Hyde's own headline caution on E-volution: the massive capacity wants a lighter touch, and a heavy hand on a small surface overloads it. Land paint on bare surface first, never against your finished wet edge, and feather outward. Wash to clear water — microfiber holds paint deep and rinses slowly; stop when the water runs clear, not "mostly clear," and stand it on end to dry so it never develops a flat spot.
