Gloss is the strictest finish there is, and the technique is built around not disturbing it

Thin coats, always — gloss magnifies both stipple and runs, so two light passes beat one heavy one. Light pressure — microfiber's capacity floods a surface under weight (Hyde's explicit caveat). Don't overwork it — lay the paint, lay it off once in a single direction, and leave; going back into setting enamel drags marks the flat nap was there to prevent. Sand lightly between coats with a fine sponge to knock down any dust nibs, and tack off before recoating. Pre-dampen for waterborne enamels and load full and quiet. And clean it to keep it — spin out, wash in warm soapy water until it runs clear, stand on end to dry; microfiber rinses slower than a cheap cover (Hyde says so), so give the wash its minute.

Can I really roll cabinet doors to a sprayed look?
Yes — with prep (degrease, sand, prime) and thin coats, the 1/4" microfiber lays enamel nearly stipple-free. The cover is the easy part; the prep is the job.
Why the 1/4" nap and not 3/8"?
Short nap lays the flattest film, which is what gloss and semi-gloss demand. 3/8" is the wall nap; use 47310 for walls.
Jumbo core vs a regular mini for cabinets?
The jumbo carries more paint and rolls a long door run smoother; the regular mini (47314) fits tighter into cabinet boxes.
Should I use it for polyurethane I'll throw away?
Use foam (47348) for use-and-discard solvent work; keep microfiber for waterborne enamel you'll wash and reuse.
Will it paint my walls?
Only dead-smooth ones — a 1/4" nap skips wall texture. For walls use 3/8" or a 9".
