  • Heavy-duty 4 L paint tray designed for 18 in rollers. Ideal for residential and commercial painting projects requiring higher paint capacity and fewer refills. Compatible with disposable liners for faster cleanup and improved jobsite efficiency.
DO NOT FORCE THE FIT
  • Not a 9" roller — the 18" ramp is wasted mass under a standard cover, and every other tray in the line does that job better and lighter.
  • Not a promised lined workflow yet — it is liner-compatible per its maker, but the 18" liner SKU is unidentified here ⚑, so no liner part may be sold against it until confirmed.
  • Not solvent-borne coatings — plastic and solvent don't share a tray, and there is no 18" metal tray in the line (solvent + 18" is an honest gap).
  • Not the biggest continuous single-color production — past the tray's reach, the 5-gallon bucket and hanging grid wins (§5).
  • Not a small-batch controlled-film tool — that's the mini and standard trays' world; an 18" system is built for coverage, not finesse.

How the pros run it

01

Loading

follows the universal method — pour to the ramp line and no further, face-dip, three or four conditioning passes on the ribs, look for the no-drip lift — scaled to an 18" cover across a full-width ramp; the win is even loading across the whole face, the failure is a striped wall from a cover loaded on part of its width. Weight: four liters plus a wide heavy build is a genuine floor-only tray — do not perch it, do not one-hand-carry it charged; pour where it will live. Two-person rhythm: on big production walls, a loader-and-roller pair keeps the wide cover fed and the wet edge continuous better than one person shuttling to the tray. Chemistry: plastic — keep it to water-borne production coatings; the line's solvent chassis is the metal deepwell (a 9-1/2" tray, so solvent and 18" is not served in this line, a real gap worth stating).

Asked at the counter

BUYER QUESTIONS ANSWERED BEFORE THE CART, NOT AFTER THE RETURN
Why can't I just use a big standard tray for an 18" roller?
An 18" cover is wider than a 9-1/2" ramp — it rides the sidewalls and loads unevenly. The 92113's full-width ramp is what loads it evenly (2a).
Why 4 liters and not 2?
An 18" cover drinks about twice what a 9" cover does; 4 liters is the matched reservoir that keeps the width's speed advantage from drowning in refills (2b).
Which liner fits it?
Unresolved — it's officially liner-compatible, but the 18" liner SKU isn't identified here, and none of the line's existing liners (92076/92077/92081) is an 18" fit. Plan bare-tray washout until confirmed (2d).
Can I run floor epoxy or oil from it?
Water-borne floor coatings, yes (2c); solvent-borne, no — it's plastic, and there's no 18" metal tray in the line (§4).
How does it compare to the 9-1/2" jumbo?
Same 4 liters, different machine — buy the 92113 for an 18" cover, the 92067 for a 9" cover (§5).
When should I switch to a bucket and grid?
When an 18" cover runs continuously or two rollers feed from one reservoir — the bucket wins above the tray's reach (§5).
