Feel

an all-metal handle transmits blade pressure a touch more directly (and coldly) than a cushioned grip — some finishers love the feedback, some want a glove on a long ceiling day. Flex: the single hollow-grind gives a clean flexible bend for feathering; press through the handle center to leave a hair of crown, bias to an edge to feather to zero. Cleaning — the whole selling point: rinse, wipe, done; there is no crevice to dig out and no handle to dry separately, which is exactly why it earns its place in wash-down environments. Maintenance: stainless means no rust ritual; keep the edge square with a mill file if it ever dents.

What makes it "Full-metal"?
Blade and handle are one continuous piece of stainless — no scales, rivets, or crevices — so it cleans to bare metal. (See §1.)
Why would I pay for that?

Can I set a popped nail with it?
The solid one-piece butt will do it; Hyde's description calls it a HammerHead®, though the line doc's Hammer-Head roster omits the Full-metal knives — treat the branding as . (See §2d.)
Is there a 3" version?
No — the Full-metal™ range starts at this 4". (See §5.)
Does it feel like a carbon knife?
