Currently the two shields are still in their packing box due to a delay on this project. This is my second pair of these same shields because dummy here left the previous pair on a job somewhere, likely left out during loading and stolen. The poly shields cost more than the metals but the front-to-back adjustment on them is indispensable.
A hack for rolling walls: Use the wood handle to support the blades on base board. You'll never tape off or wipe down a baseboard again.
These are the only Blades that work best for us.
The only reason for not giving 4 stars is I need a longer one. This one is about 3” short for the the wrong size. I couldn’t find a sheath for an 8”x1” blade. It will work great for a 5”x1” blade though!
Can we get Sherwin Williams to start carrying the polystyrene shield again? it doesn’t scratch the walls like the metal one does.
