Hot-solvent immersion for long periods. Aggressive hot chemistry attacks the filament; this is a scrub tool for stripper and cleaner at working temperature, not a boil-out brush.
Nylon does not shear — the stripper softens the coating, and the flexible fill works the softened film out of the detail. Keep the surface wet with stripper, re-wet rather than force, and let the tips do the lifting. Use the plastic nose deliberately. When the brush is riding over a lifted sheet or a crusted lump instead of clearing it, roll onto the scraper edge and shear it, then go back to brushing — that's the sequence the combined tool is built for. Mind the heat. Nylon is a thermoplastic; hot, aggressive strippers can soften and wilt the filament, so work at temperature and don't leave it standing in a hot bath. Use the shoe to keep knuckles clear in a recess. Rinse the fill so hardened residue doesn't set in it. No eye-protection-from-broken-wire worry here — there's no wire to shed — but wear splash protection for the chemistry.

Why nylon instead of a wire stripping brush?
