- Not the drywall knife: the "/Drywall" designation belongs to the 20350 and 20610, and this guide doesn't borrow it.
- Not the tear-out knife (20250/20550, above).
- Not a roofing knife — the 20550 carries that name and the .072" blade behind it.
- Not pad-safe or subfloor-safe over surfaces that must survive: that is the captured hooks' guarantee (42200/67090), which an open piercing point cannot make.
