Doorknob holes as the main diet. If most of your holes are 2-inch doorknob strikes, the 4x4 box (09903) is your deep-turnover stock and this is the companion box for the bigger ones — not the other way around.

In bulk the added discipline is standardizing the wide feather so no unit gets shorted — the 6-inch mound is the one crews are most tempted to under-feather when they're moving fast. Old walls (pre-1978) carry the same lead/asbestos caution; the patch-over disturbs almost nothing.
