When do I want the SuperFlexx 02102 instead?
When your patches keep needing three sanding passes — the 02102's extra-limber blade wipes the final coat flatter. It's an addition to the 02100, not a replacement.
Will it rust?
It's carbon — wipe it dry after water-based compound and it won't. If you refuse to, buy the stainless 01040.
1-1/2" or 2"?
Holes and small patches → 1-1/2" (this one). Patches bigger than a playing card → the 2" 02250.
