How the pros run it

The blade is a 4" flexible joint knife and works like one
bed tape with a thin film left under it, wipe from the center of a corner run outward, steer pressure to the blade's center so the corners float, load low and wipe firm. Stainless, so no drying ritual. For the bit: seat it fully before turning to avoid stripping a plate screw, and treat it as a cover-plate driver — a knife handle is a short lever, not a power driver's grip. And the standing safety rule the plate job lives under: cut the power before any device plate comes off.

What's the screwdriver for?
Removing and re-hanging cover plates (#2 Phillips), so one tool takes the plate off, finishes the wall, and puts it back.
