It is not an oil or varnish brush — "for latex" means synthetic filament; put alkyd, enamel, or spar varnish through it and you're in the wrong half of the line (the white/black natural-bristle sets).
It is not a cutting-in brush for walls and ceilings — a 1" stub can't hold a long wall line efficiently; that's a 2"–2½" angled sash's job.
It is not an artist brush — below about half an inch of line, spotting and fine touch-up want the artist row (80011–80017).
And it is not the finish-grade brush — for a surface where the trimmed line itself is the visible product, the SRT step-up is the buy (below).
a trim stub is controlled near the ferrule, like a pencil, not swung from the handle end. Load light — about a third of the bristle length; an overloaded trim brush floods the very edges it exists to keep clean. Set the line with the tapered edge, then draw it in one deliberate stroke rather than scrubbing. Latex only — this is a synthetic, water-based-paint brush; keep oil and varnish in the natural-bristle brushes. Keep a wet edge on repetitive small elements so laps don't flash, and clean it at the heel after use (comb and spin) — a trim brush is ruined at the roots like any other.

Latex only, or can I use oil?
Latex and other waterborne paints. "For latex" means synthetic filament; oil, alkyd, and varnish want the natural-bristle brushes in this line.
How is it different from the Elegance 13425 at the same size?
Grade. The 13425 is the polyester-SRT finish brush ("exceptional smooth finish"); the 13525 is the standard tapered latex trim. Buy up to Elegance when the trim line is the visible product.
Does it have a soft-grip handle?
The 13525 is listed with Hyde’s soft-grip stubby knives; related models call out soft-grip by name, while the 13525 title does not.
Is it a wall cutting-in brush?
No — it's a 1" trim brush for small elements. Cutting in walls and ceilings is a 2"–2½" angled sash's job.
