What's the difference between near-white and the white "select" wipers?
Grade — the sort, and nothing else this line will invent (§5). Near-white is the value grade for cleanup and general wiping with a small dye-bleed risk under hot solvents; all-white is the finishing grade for solvent-wet work on the workpiece.
Can I wipe stain or finish on the workpiece with these?
For cleanup and rough wipe-on/wipe-off away from the show face, yes; for the solvent-wet finishing wipe directly on the surface, use the all-white 95016 to avoid any dye transfer (2c, 2d).
How many rags, what fiber, what size?
