more points, shorter spans, more stability — err toward too many rather than too few, especially on heavy or long pieces. Orientation: points up, wide base down and stable; on a bench that isn't dead flat, the screw-down holes are the fix. The flip: lift and turn, never slide; the piece should be set down onto points, not scooted across them. Face order: hidden face first, show face last and up (2e). Ganging: lock-and-tab into a rail for anything longer than it is stable (2c); screw down for anything light enough to wander (2d). Cleanup: the points are chemical-resistant and non-stick, so cured drips pop off and solvent wipes them — but clean them before finish cures hard in the base, or a crusted pyramid no longer sits flat. Quantity: budget four pyramids per cabinet door actually in progress; a real cabinet job stages several doors at once, which is the whole reason the pack is ten (see §5).
