How is it different from the 33120?

Same 4" head, different everything around it: metal shaft and foam grip with a claimed 12" length here; plastic handle, push-button change, and double lock there. The cut itself is identical.

What steel is the blade?

Unclaimed for this model and for the 33170 packs . Keep spares dry, as you would carbon.

Can it clear the paste layer too?

Yes — same tool, same strokes, after re-wetting the stripped wall (2b). Paint over residual paste fails; the pass is not optional.
