What it does
Single texture brush with a hardwood body, clear protective coating and Acme thread that fits standard handles and extension poles. Works only with mud on the bristles.
How to use it
- Keep the brush face square to the surface so every filament lands together.
- Use even pressure and rhythm with one-third overlap.
- Rinse under running water right away. Joint compound ruins loaded bristles.

Roll the mud on first, or load the brush?
Either. Roll a field and stomp it on open ceilings. Load the brush face for patches and edges.
What consistency should the mud be?
Thinned joint compound, soft-peak, like heavy cream. Test on cardboard before the ceiling.
Single or double?
Single for control, patching and broken-up ceilings. Double for clearing open field fast.
Can I use it for knockdown?
It does the stomp. A wide knife knocks the peaks down after they firm up.
