Rough-sawn siding, stucco, brick, and block. A 3/8" nap bridges the deep valleys of a rough substrate and leaves the bottoms unpainted; those want the 3/4" 47365 or the 1-1/4" 47366, whose long polyester fibers reach the craters.
Smooth doors and trim finished to a low-stipple look. At 3/8" this cover lays more stipple than a smooth door face should carry; the short 1/4" 47360 is the smooth-surface finish member.
Interior epoxy floors and critical interior feature walls. Exterior polyester is not the interior fabric of choice — epoxy floors want the lint-free woven Woven-Ultra (47328-class), and a critical interior wall wants microfiber's flatter finish (47302-class).
Interior gloss cabinets and furniture. The exterior polyester's ruggedness is wasted indoors and its fiber is coarser than a finish-critical interior gloss wants; that is E-volution microfiber's job.
Exterior 3/8" work lives or dies on the wet edge, and direct sun and wind kill it — start on the shaded elevation, follow the shade, and keep courses continuous so laps land on wet paint. Long passes with the run on siding and boards; break at natural stops (corners, board ends), never mid-course. Back-brush stain and thin coatings into the grain where the roller leaves them floating. Load the polyester generously but lay off — the 3/8" carries well, so a full load covers ground, but a light final pass evens the film. Clean by the coating — waterborne exterior paint washes to clear water; solvent stains and oil coatings get a prompt solvent clean so the fiber and core survive. Full 1-1/2" core fits any standard 9" frame; pair with a pole-threaded frame for the high work.

BUYER QUESTIONS ANSWERED BEFORE THE CART, NOT AFTER THE RETURN
Is Lamb Pro wool?
No — high-density polyester (Hyde's family claim); a durable exterior synthetic (§1).
What's the 3/8" Lamb Pro for?
Smooth-to-lightly-textured exterior surfaces — smooth-sawn siding, smooth decking and stain, exterior primer and body coats (§2). The exterior workhorse nap.
Interior or exterior?
Exterior — built for sun and stain. Interior walls and floors have better-matched fabrics (microfiber, woven) at the same nap (§5).
