Do not count remaining points by handling an exposed blade unnecessarily.

A blade removed after a drop, jam, lock slip, or impact belongs in quarantine until disposition.

Keep the host clean

Adhesive, gypsum, foam, rubber, dirt, and moisture can enter channel/threads.

Clean through host/material-compatible methods. Do not:

blow debris toward workers;

flood unknown mechanisms;

scrape channel with an exposed blade;

oil a blade/path where contamination matters;

return damp stock.

Inspect lock function after cleaning and before reinstalling.

The 25 mm system may be a lead for depth/stiffness, but it has no accepted capacity for any category. Prove the actual material and backing.

Do not substitute “one pass” for quality. A controlled score-and-break can be safer and cleaner than forcing a full-depth slice. Conversely, repeated deep sawing can overheat, wander, and expose more blade than a properly qualified full-depth system.

Where the blade must bend, turn tightly, plunge blind, or contact reinforcement, select another tool/method.

Audit the host fleet

Blades cannot be standardized while hosts drift.

Create a host roster with:

change/snap method;

known compatible blade evidence;

damage/quarantine history.

Close the station at shift end

damaged stock/hosts visibly quarantined;

issue and incident records complete.

Inspect floors, benches, carts, and material stacks for dropped segments. Do not pick up a suspected sharp blindly; use the site’s approved tool and containment.

The next shift should be able to reconcile new, installed, partial, spent, and quarantined states without handling exposed stock. If the count/status cannot be reconciled, hold the station and search through the safety process rather than treating the difference as inventory shrinkage.

What goes wrong (and the fix)

A 25 mm blade enters an unknown host. Stop and verify the complete physical/instruction system.

The screw lock creeps. Quarantine the host/blade; extra torque is not the fix.

The blade is extended fully by habit. Reduce to the shortest qualified projection.

A segment is snapped with pliers toward the face. Restore the approved device, eye protection, and containment.

42360 is labeled carbon steel. Remove it; exact metallurgy is unverified.

The package is used for spent segments. Use the selected rigid waste route unless explicitly authorized.

Partial blades mix with new. Restore status/identity segregation.

The blade twists in a thick cut. Stop; improve support/alignment or choose another tool.

Inventory assumes 35 completed jobs. Correct it to 35 fresh points only.
