Because 50 feet is the beginner's quantity, and the beginner is exactly who oversands — the cue helps most here.
Is it stronger than the white tape?
No — same mesh, same strength. Yellow is a sanding aid, not a different tape.
How wide is it?
1-7/8" (48mm); "2 inch" titles round up .
What compound?
Setting-type (quick-set), not air-dry tub mud — required over any mesh.
Can I patch an open hole with it?
