Register the sheet first, then lift

Get the sheet's factory edge under the top course and its cut edge to the floor line before you commit the foot — the lever closes the last inch, it does not aim the sheet. Modulate, don't launch. The value of a foot lever over a shove is that the foot can ease the sheet up under control and hold it there; a snapped lift jams the board or overshoots the seam. Load both hands onto the board, not the lever. The whole point is that the foot owns the lift so the hands own the fastening — if a hand is helping the lever, the tool is not doing its job. What problem does it solve?

Can I lift a ceiling sheet with it?
