Anything textured (3/8" bridges the valleys), any masonry (wrong nap class), mirror-gloss cabinetry (fiber stipple shows), and full-wall production (a 4" width is the wrong scale for a room). Ten of the wrong-scale cover is still the wrong scale — this is a small-areas quantity buy, not a shortcut to painting big walls.
How the pros run it
01
Light pressure, always
the nap does the metering, and force just prints fat edges. Load the whole face on a screen or grid to saturated-not-dripping; pre-wet on water-based paint so the first pass reaches the wall. Woven's interlocked yarn means near-zero shedding, so de-linting is a formality (a tape pull on a new cover if you like). One weightless lay-off pass per section, one direction. Hyde rates the Woven-Ultra family across all paints from latex flats to high-gloss enamels, matting-resistant and resilient for a full day — which is exactly why, at this quantity, you can wash and re-run a cover through several rooms before retiring it.

BUYER QUESTIONS ANSWERED BEFORE THE CART, NOT AFTER THE RETURN
Same as the 2- and 4-packs?
Yes — identical 4" Woven-Ultra, 3/8" nap. This is the volume count.
Wash or toss a mini?
On a crew, rotate and retire — labor to wash a mini exceeds its value. Woven does reward washing if you want to, unlike a knit mini.
Will 3/8" do textured walls?
No; it's the smooth-to-light-texture nap.
Fiber in the film?
Woven-Ultra is lint-free by construction — a real advantage at ten covers and many close-lit surfaces.
Cabinet gloss?
Use foam (47348) or 1/4" microfiber; a fiber mini leaves stipple.
