I originally purchased Hyde Knee Pads sometime in the early 90's from I don't know where. 20 years later, they still worked fine but the Velcro didn't hold as well and the pads looked kinda worn so I decided to replace them. Whenever I stopped into a building material or hardware store I looked for a knee pad that were soft on the knees and had a single Velcro strap. Couldn't find any. I bought several "poor" substitutes but threw them away in short order and went back to my very used Hydes. A month or so ago, I took a close look at my beat up knee pads and found the "Hyde" label.Google showed me where I could find this great tool.

I bought them and they are just as comfortable and well made as my 1990 knee pads. I should have looked closer many years ago! (Posted on 11/7/2018)

I'm a large guy but i can ware every other knee pad i have purchased, but these barely covered my knee and the straps were way too short to fit... I gave them away to my 4'10" 105lb friend and they fit him perfectly. These should be listed as big "boy" size (Posted on 1/4/2016)

Perfect for Boney Knees Review by Another Cat Lover

I have always had boney knees. So, I love this product because the pads are the perfect thickness and softness to protect my knees. And with the velcro straps, they are also extremely easy to put on and remove. Before I found these (at a Benjamin Moore Paint store), I had tried two other brands. One of the other brands also had velcro straps. But the straps were too thin and weak, and lost their elasticity rather quickly. The other brand was entirely too difficult and time consuming to put on and remove. (It had buttons instead of velcro on the straps. So if I needed to adjust which hole to button, it was aggravating.) Plus the pads themselves were way too hard. While these Hyde brand pads are a perfect fit for me (I have skinny knees), the straps might be too short to fit around a larger-boned person's knees. I am not aware if Hyde offers their knee pads in different sizes. Or, if all of them are one-size-fits-all. (I saw no size option when I ordered.) If I knew that these Hyde pads came in sizes (rather than one-size-fits-all), I would not hesitate to rate them five stars. But personally, I have been extremely happy with my purchase.
